The first annual Christmas-bake-a-thon-and-goodie-exchange!

Well, we did it. We grated, we stirred, we rolled, we flattened, we folded, we dipped, we kneaded, we greased, we lined, and we baked. Oh yes, that's right, we baked.

Not to mention that we - once again - filled my apartment full of smoke.

It was an afternoon of sugary pleasure-filled goodness, complete with treats and tea and good good friends. Attendees Laura, Michelle, Flora, Meg and I spent the better part of the day listening to cheesy Christmas songs whilst making some scrumptious baked goodies.

The menu included:
- Grandma Gordon's Ginger Snaps (soft, chewy and delicious)
- Melting Moments (a new recipe taken from the Keith-Cherry cookbook)
- Coconut Rum Balls & Baileys Chocolate (not salty) Balls (Meg's mom's Christmas specialty)
- Goooooey Lemon Bars & Homemade Snausage Rolls (c/o Laura and Michelle)

What a great time! I hope we do it again very soon. (But not before I get to the gym . . . )
